Intention and Purpose
Kindness, Awareness, and freedom to travel and explore more coffees.

My inspiration for a coffee journey started in the Summer of 2021. While enjoying a delicious cup of coffee, I had a moment of reflection that took me down memory lane. Tender thoughts of my childhood watching my grandmother and mother enjoying their morning cafecito. I set out to try all the Puerto Rican-origin coffees I could find. I have tried over 25 of them. I’ve received suggestions from family and friends and packages with coffee for me to try. I appreciate that folks hopped on this journey with me, exposing me to different coffees of countries I have yet to travel to.

Throughout my coffee journey, I have expanded my palate and tasted coffees from several origins, such as Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Columbia, Cuba, Brazil, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Aruba, Nicaragua, and Africa. I took a trip to Costa Rica and had a fantastic experience at a Finca de café. I learned about the coffee process from seed to cup and tasted coffee from several regions. I traveled to Puerto Rico and had some great coffees from different pueblos. Also visited a farm with delicious coffee less than an hour from the Puerto Rico's mainland airport. I visited Portugal, where I tasted several coffees from Brazil. These past several years have been filled with unexpected travels and great coffee-tasting experiences. My journey has also been national, discovering some great coffee shops within the Tri-State area.

I’m excited about my coffee travels in 2024.
