Here is to travel adventures and Coffee!
I traveled to Portugal. It was a solo self-care trip. It’s the best thing I’ve done in years for myself. I came back replenished and rejuvenated. Portugal is an amazing, beautiful country; most importantly, I felt safe. Of course, as the New Yorker that I am to the core, I was always aware of my surroundings and alert.
I enjoyed several day trips to wineries, bookshops, museums, markets, and, of course, local coffee shops. Most of the coffees I tasted were from Brazil. Brazilian coffee is robust and bold. My most memorable coffee break in Portugal was at a restaurant nestled on a massive rock on the beach. It was the most spectacular thing I have ever seen, with magnificent water views.
My best time was walking the streets, stopping to listen to street musicians and following the tour guides LOL
Places to visit: Porto, Douro wine country, the fishing town of Matosinhos.
Here is to a coffee experience! Our journey is just beginning!
