Diary of Coffee Journey

#women-4-coffee

Everything I do leads back to coffee.

Every year we visit Massachusetts, it never grows old and surely doesn’t disappoint. There are great restaurants and lots of places to get good coffee. We visited an art gallery studio – The Saxonville Mills in Framingham, MA, where my brother Jose displays his magnificent artwork. He is an Abstract Artist JOSE SPENCER | BOSTON ARTIST. The Saxonville Mills is composed of several industrial buildings from the 1800s used as Mills that are now home to numerous businesses, including artists.

The Saxonville Mills Café is a quaint coffee shop to chill and chat before or after a tour of the Mills. The service was slow. We waited for quite a bit even though there was just one other customer in line. I had a mocha latte, and it was very tasty. I also purchased a bag of their Premium Colombian Medium Roast Coffee beans. The Columbian coffee beans had a sweet honey aroma, and the beans were small with different shades of brown. I tasted this coffee black with and without sugar. It has a slightly bitter taste that lingers. The Mocha Latte was my favorite, and the chocolate flavor blended well with the bitterness of the coffee. On my next visit, I will try their dark roast beans.

My favorite Café in Massachusetts is French Press Bakery and Cafe in the town of Needham. The owner is Jay Spencer. A self-made entrepreneur, restaurateur, and baker/cafe extraordinaire. It’s an elegant French café with great, friendly, and experienced staff. Soooo... many things excite me about French Press – OMG, their Brooklyn Roast Coffee. It’s a dark French roast with an amazing, sweet aroma and bold flavor. The beans are small and dark brown. This coffee goes with every variation of coffee drinks. It doesn’t have a bitter aftertaste. I love their Mocha Latte!!! This coffee is one of my all-time favorites; I’ve been drinking it for over ten years. You can’t leave French Press without having one or two of their delicious pastries. My favorite is the Cheese Danish! I say, drop by, meet my brother-in-law Jay and pick up a bag of their Brooklyn roast coffee. French Press Bakery & Cafe - Artisan Bakers in Needham
