Café Lareno is my six-tasting coffee. This coffee is packaged with a front label with pictures of the Puerto Rican flag, a coffee plant with red berries, also a brief story of its history and origin. The back of the package has a clear cover showing the beans. This coffee brightens your day. I had this coffee black without sugar. It has a bit of a bitter taste with a fruity aroma. This is a bold coffee with an attitude. It says, “Hello, I’m here.” This coffee is smooth and robust. If you like your coffee black with/or without sugar, I highly recommend this coffee. This is the coffee that wakes you up and starts your day bright and alert and picks you up mid-day. I loved it as an espresso with sugar. It is coffee that you sip slowly and easy.
It’s the coffee I can see myself sitting at a cafe with a friend sharing juicy *gossip. Savoring the coffee and the *chisme, lol.
I had this coffee as a mocha latte, but that was not my favorite. The chocolate masked the flavor of the coffee. However, it was delightful as a café con leche – latte. I recommend tasting this coffee! Overall, my rating is a 4.0 – Very Good!!!
