Adventures in Puerto Rico

Palm Tree
El Conquistador in Puerto Rico

I traveled to PR after over ten years since my last visit to the Island. It’s unbelievable how we allow ourselves to drag emotional baggage through the years that can interfere with our wellness. Nevertheless, this was quite a spontaneous and intuitive decision, and I’m so happy that I allowed myself to do what felt right!

This was the most wonderful and surprising trip I have ever taken. This trip exceeded my expectations in every way possible – from the company to the accommodations. When we stay open to Possibilities, the Universe finds a way to shield us from dark forces and rewards us!

Enough with the heavy stuff – Now for the fun story! OMG, we stayed at El Conquistador, and it did not disappoint – (well, we had a few comments, lol). The hotel grounds and view are Spectacular!!! You can’t see the fantastic views from the hotel's main entrance. But when you enter the lobby, open any glass doors, and step out into the patio, you are entirely blown away!!! All I wanted to do was get out of my travel clothes, get into my bathing suit, and run downstairs to explore more of those views. The 360 panoramic views of the ocean, pools, jacuzzies, marina, water park, and Las Casitas – It’s heaven!!! And can’t forget to mention the main attraction – PALOMINO ISLAND! Yes, this hotel has a private island for their guests with a fantastic beach, and OMG, the drinks – of course with Don Q Puerto Rican rum to die for, LOL

The Coffee Experience

I was not expecting to get reacquainted with the first coffee I started my blog – Café Alto Grande! I’ve mentioned that our surroundings influence our taste buds. Well, I must say that Alto Grande tasted Very Good this time around. It was fresher than getting it from some warehouse in the US, but I must say that the rating I gave it last year went up from a 3 to a 4. I had this coffee for about six days, twice daily – in the morning and late at night. I had Alto Grande in different drinks, from Latte to Cortado; all tasted quite delicious!

I didn’t purchase any coffee to take home while in Puerto Rico – my bad☹. (Deep down inside, it's an excuse to return to PR.) I will order it online soon. And I will let you know if the coffee tastes different outside of Puerto Rico, LOL.
