It's Hispanic Heritage Month, Let's take a coffee tasting journey together!

I’m excited to announce the tasting of two coffees in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month. Diversity, Equity, Inclusivity, and Belonging is at the crest of who I am. I grew up in a family that respected culture and tradition regardless of race, ethnicity, and gender. I was raised by a strong Latina mom who instilled in me good values and challenged me to be strong. I’m proud to carry the roots of a generation of hard-working ancestors who have shaped who I am and what I bring to the table as an Afro/Black Latina.

This week I have been brewing Volcanica Dominican medium roast coffee. There are a lot of Dominican-origin coffees to choose from—some more expensive than others. Volcanica was moderately priced. But let me tell you, this coffee is worth it!!!! The taste and aroma are off the hook, lol. This coffee is highly aromatic and fruity, with a hint of honey. If you like your coffee sweet, light, and black, you can drink it all day long. It doesn’t require much sugar. It blends in wonderfully with chocolate oat milk – my favorite. I will continue to make different drinks and keep you posted. I couldn’t contain my excitement and needed to share!

If you have tasted this coffee or others, please leave a comment on my blog!

My second coffee is from Costa Rica – stay tuned for my reviews!
